International Wine Trade descends on this prestigious place to taste all of the 2015 Bordeaux futures in barrel.  As one of 14 Wine Specialists on the JJ Buckley Wine Team who traveled to France, this was a full week of tasting all of the Classified growths and satellite appellations.  We brought home a focused sense of this highly anticipated 2015 vintage.

Part of the ’10, ’11, ’12 Vertical – this 2010 Denis Mortet Lavaux St. Jacques 1er Cru is an outstanding wine.  These 2010s are showing so much promise for collectors.

2013 Comte de Vogue Masterclass – 4 wines from Chambolle-Musigny – The sleeper wine is the 1er Cru Chambolle-Musigny, all young vines (under 25 years old) from the Grand Cru “Musigny” Vineyard go into this bottling.  It’s like getting a baby Musigny!  Comte de Vogue is the largest land owner in Musigny.

A beautiful glass wall of wine defines the entrance of this beautiful custom cellar.

The Krug was fantastic.  This 2003 is decadent, full and rich with a backbone of chalky minerality and the finish just goes on and on….

We decanted the Unico for 2 hours and it showed very well, but this wine is still such a baby.

A Unique Custom Built Wine Cellar Perched high above Central Park.  My client has been collecting wine for 30 years and recently had her dream cellar built in her NY Penthouse Apt.  This cellar is a joy to work in and she and her husband are a joy to know!

This wine defines the spectacular 2010 Brunello vintage.  Best 2010 I’ve tried so far… I’ve been urging my clients to buy these 2010’s.  You won’t be disappointed!
