La Paulée de New York Burgundy Festival 2017!  Each year this event alternates from San Francisco to New York.  This year tasting the 2014s at the Grand Tasting.  One of my favorites DOMAINE HUDELOT NOELLAT!

This was a treat. The Signature Tasting Menu at Jean Georges in NY.  This caviar egg was one of the most incredible things I’ve ever eaten!

So nice to be back in S.F for a few days.  Dined at Prospect Restaurant  on the Embarcadero – Excellent.  Also tried an elegant new Moroccan spot downtown called Mourad (New Montgomery & Mission).  Opened by the owners of Aziza in the Richmond.  Get the couscous dish.  This clean and bright Albarino matched our food perfectly.

My recent trip to Dallas for a five day inventory project.  Updated Cellar Software to provide an exact inventory and current market valuation of this extensive collection.

One of our highest attended nights of the year!  18 women showed up to taste and learn about the wines of the Cote d’Or, from Chablis all the way down to the Maconnais.

In Napa, Checking in on our 2015 Chardonnay in barrel.  Bottling in Sept.  This is going to be one of my favorites!  I can’t believe our own ‘Rio Viento’ vineyard is almost 10 years old.

On the heels of my trip to Bordeaux we decide to make this the topic of our April Meeting.  A wide range of young and older Bordeaux gave the group a fantastic overview and everyone found something they love!
